Javier López Barbosa.

Javier López Barbosa was born in 1962 in Guadalajara Mexico. He grew up in Monterey Mexico where he was greatly inspired by both music and the visual arts. Although he is not from an artistic family, some of Javier's earliest memories were projected images of himself as an adult artist. Self taught, Javier has painted passionately from childhood on. When he was young, he was driven to paint murals on all of the walls in his room. As an adult, Javier has perfected a beautiful oil on canvas technique that is difficult to categorize, but could best be viewed as an outgrowth of glazing.
